Manila Transitio 1945-2012

Won’t bore you with history, you could read everything HERE.

It was a night of kundiman, which I truly enjoyed by the way…while sipping ice cold San Miguel beer, salampak on the grass under the stars…it’s just super awesome, and to think it’s in one of the most historical places in the Philippines-Fort Santiago…

It was kind of a very spiritual experience when we had to light our floating lanterns, while the enchanting voices of Mabuhay singers were echoing in the background, and as the floating lanterns filled the Manila sky, they were like beautiful fire flies...ang ganda, promise!!! (reminds me of Loi Krathong in Thailand)

From kundiman to jazz, Brooklyn-based DEORO played some insane music…then there was this cute guy who did tap dancing while beat boxing…could you beat that?!??

Ended the night drinking some more with new found friends (most of them are part of Livin La Vida Imelda which I promise to watch before it ends…)
